Lincoln History Videos
During the September 18th Lincoln Hills 2ndCup Of Coffee speaker session with local historian Jerry Logan, the audience viewed a new DVD 'Crossing at Auburn Ravine-Lincoln History'. This product was made by Lincoln High School students/and teacher Ivan Bradley with Jerry Logan; it is available for purchase through the Western Placer Unified School District Office. We received permission from current WPUSD's High School teacher Matt Tafft to use this video on our Web Site October 9th. This video is based on Interviews with the local historian (Jerry Logan) and includes four student productions titled "Roberta Remembers", "Esters's Stories", "Lincoln Potters", Small Town Hardball", and "The Clay Man". Included are over 60 photo's which show how life was in Lincoln. The DVD was converted to a Streaming Video Format which is compatible with Microsoft Media Player, and other software which must be installed on your computer to view them. The Video's will not play on a dial up internet connection so don't try. You must have DSL, cable or equivalent broadband Internet connections to view these video's. You must have your Web Browser configured correctly to use Media Player to play these video's. I cannot help you debug your computer software if Streaming Video does not play. I have tested the video's using two different computer simultaneously and things seem to work fine for me. The Streaming Video will probably not function properly if too many folks try and view it at the same time. If this occurs try again later. We have over 1 hour of video's so plan you time accordingly. |
