Genealogy Group Classes

revised 12/03/2008

Genealogy focused computer classes on a variety of topics are offered about eight times a year.  We meet on “many”  first Monday’s of the month from January through November in the Computer Room of Orchard Creek Lodge at 6:30 pm.  Participants should sign-up, as there are a limited number of computers.  It is also possible to observe the class.

If interested, sign up at our regular genealogy meetings or contact a member of the Education Committee.  Participants should be comfortable with a computer and searching on the Internet.

We currently offer two different classes for beginning online genealogy and other classes on  a variety of genealogy topics.   Individuals with experience using the Internet may be able to independently use the links for the Beginning Online Genealogy classes at the LHGG website without taking the classes.  ..
